The Alaskan Klee Kai comes in three different sizes: Toy (under 13 inches), Miniature (13-15 inches), and Standard (over 15-17 inches high). The UKC standard for the breed allows for the coat to be black & white, gray & white, and red & white. Their eyes can be brown, green, amber, blue, parti-eyed (more then 1 color), or bi-eyed (each eye is a different color). Although not allowed by the UKC standard pure white AKK are born on occasion.

In temperament, the Alaskan Klee Kai is highly active like the Siberian Husky but tend to be more reserved with strangers. They require a lot of work to be properly socialized and can be very noisy. They generally do get along well with other animals but have a high prey drive so gophers, rats and mice beware! They love to be with their owners and enjoy most activities.
